Wolfmother have released a new album 'New Moon Rising' & are about to embark on their biggest tour to date, a national series with legends AC/DC, so they are currently playing a handful of headline dates around the country with the new lineup.

I managed to secure (last minute) a pass to shoot their show at Enmore Theatre.

In other news, after my first outdoor promo shoot with local band The Amenta, they are now using one of the shots for their latest tour flyer as you can see below.

Keep an eye out in a few weeks for hopefully new shots of Megadeth, touring with Slayer in October.

Been Awhile since an entry, nothing much has been on the calendar in the last few months...last night however seen a return to the pit to shoot the popstar Katy Perry who sold out her Enmore Theatre show in Sydney.

Lighting was quite nice, with spotlights on the girl the entire time, however I'm restricted to slow glass at the moment - so I tried to make the best of the situation.

Check out the shots below.

With 2008 coming to a close, I give you a selection of some of my favourite shots taken by me during the year.

I look forward to 2009, who knows what lies around the corner for me.

Merry Christmas & Safe New Years to all!

The boys from Florida flew in to Australia for press & thought to put on a one date show in Sydney considering they flew 13+ hours to be here.

Once again they put on a tight set, which has come to be one of their strengths....

Daysend were their supports for the night - this was the first time I had seen them live & I must say they put on a great show...catchy tunes mixed with a great stage presence, I'll definitely have to catch them again in the near future

Come 9:30 Trivium took to the stage to the delight of the near capacity crowd in Enmore Theatre, mixing things up with old & new material from their upcoming album 'Shogun' which is due for release in late September this year.

Towards the end of their set, the sense of humour broke through from the band - playing various covers from bands such as Blink 182, Nirvana, AC/DC & even Tim Fogerty's Midnight Train To Nowhere before ending their set with Anthem & Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr.

Apparently they are due back for their Shogun tour mid 2009, so I'll be keen to shoot them again.
